I got this link off my friend Pierre’s blog, http://pierrewikberg.blogspot.com/, which categorized your name through a google search. My understanding of it, is that it breaks down your name that is found on the internet into categories for which they pertain. For instance, working with sports for a large portion of my life has given me a large sports colum. Either way, I like the colored bar code that it generates when you are done. Check it out here and try for yourself.

http://personas.media.mit.edu/personasWeb.html

We spotted these two at Home Depot in Laguna Niguel, Hills, Whatever its called area this past sunday. A couple of old asians bought a few 15 foot tall bamboo plants and were trying to figure out how to bring them home in their Honda Accord. I even love that she has an Umbrella out to keep the sun off of her. I tried all I could to contain my laughter, but when I walked by I heard the husband say, “Honey, people are starting to laugh at us!”. Even the guy who worked inside the garden department was having a good laugh at it. I wonder if they even made it home with any leaves left on the plant. Ah funny asians. Racist to stereotype them, maybe; funny, ABSOLUTELY!

I need to be a bit more regular about updating this site. Unfortunately for me, not much has been going on. I have been sitting at home, working, and keeping Lupita happy so she heals quickly. Our tomato plants took off, we had some delicious meals with them and ended up getting two more plants. If you aren’t growing your own tomatoes you should really start. It is the most simple thing and they taste is so much better.

Three more weeks to go and then summer is over! I can’t wait. Send all the kids back to school, and the tourists back to their homes.

We have been growing our own tomatoes and they are starting to ripen. Used a couple the past couple of days and they are delicious. I recommend it to anyone who reads this. Anyone can grow tomatoes. So if you have a green thumb or not, buy a plant and a large pot and get growing!

Lupita just went through a second leg surgery since the first one didn’t hold. Now we have to try and keep her caged for 4-6 weeks and she doesn’t like it one bit!

Pepa and I went down to Costa Rica back in april for the McVay wedding. We had an amazing trip, the wedding was beautiful, and we came back with a cat. She was abandoned at a restaurant we were eating at which also had a couple of pit bull dogs. We decided to get her vaccinated, got the paperwork to bring her back and the rest is history. This was back in April. She got a bit too big for her britches and was attacked by a dog last Saturday. Now she is an expensive stray cat. She had a large gash in her abdomen and a broken femur. She is all mended up and back on the road to recovery.

This is a completely tardy post, but ran into Pierre a few weeks back. I went to visit him at his storage unit where he sifted through his mess to find a few things worth taking with him. He told me some funny stories about run ins with LA cops and registering his Caddy. He always has issues.
